The main points of the current policy plan:

All temple activities are funded entirely by gifts and donations from believers and the community. The foundation receives these funds on the one hand in cash during visits of believers to the temple and on the other hand by filling out authorization forms for periodic donations to the foundation. The request to fill in these forms is made during the various holidays, spread over the year.

Every month the treasurer ensures that these funds are spent on paying the fixed costs (rent, energy, waste, telephone and internet) and other expenses, including the (free) food and the daily necessities of the temple. The upkeep of the temple is also paid from the monthly income.

Every year an external auditor prepares the annual accounts and these are published on the ANBI website.

All temple board members serve on a voluntary basis. The priest receives a basic salary, on which income tax is also paid.

Other actions from the policy plan:

  • Create a sound financial foundation for the future of the temple.
  • Transferring knowledge about Hinduism.
  • Improve structure in the organization for the future.
  • The further development of existing programs and activities to appeal to an even wider audience.
  • Develop new activities that appeal to more young people.
